Since 1996, SP Meccanica has combined artisanal craftsmanship with advanced technology in subcontracted mechanical machining. Led by the Pretto family and continuously updated on machinery and processes, the company stands out for its flexibility, precision, and quality certifications, providing reliable solutions for modern industry.

1996

Founded by Ottorino Pretto. First headquarters in San Quirico, Valdagno (Vicenza).

1999

Matteo Pretto joins the company.

2001

Introduction of the first CNC machine, a decisive step toward the automation of machining processes.

2002

Francesca Pretto joins the company.

2003

Ida Pretto joins the company.

2004

Relocation of the company to its current headquarters in Cornedo Vicentino, in a larger and more functional facility.

2007

Complete renovation of the production facility to optimize workflow and safety.

2017

Expansion of the facility to the current 2.300 m², to support production growth.

2018

Installation of the first horizontal machining center to increase capacity and complexity of operations.
Implementation of a digital traceability system for internal and external machining processes.

2024

Achievement of ISO 9001 and MOCA certifications, confirming a commitment to quality and process safety.
